Harvest festival (Send the witch to bloksbjerg)
In Denmark we have a festival called "Skt. Hans" where we burn a figure resembling a witch, it is a kind of harvest festival, on a big bonfire.I was with the Flying Superkids, a show & entertainment team in a very small town called "Vester Hjermitslev" in Denmark.
When we arrived there, the big bonfire had just been lit and soon the figure of the Witch was burned.
The cute little girl on the picture, a little sister of one of the Flying Superkids members, took pity on the witch and asked about the witch with worried or sad eyes here and that was so adoring that it called for a picture of her.
