Alot of Hoops!!

After the second show in the small town of Selde, Denmark where Sofie S. got 81 hula hoops spinning on her 11 year old small body, which were a new personal record for her, an record attempt were made on beating the Guniess World Record, which as far as I know is 100 rings spinning at the same time.

Well the attempt was made and as you can see on the picture, she has a lot of rings spinning around her small 11 year old body, but how many did she get...




Well... here the excited gymnasts and audience is counting the rings, while Sofie S. to the far bottom right is watching the counting with excitement.

Sofie S.´s record was 81 hoops and it is now...

85 hola hoops !!!!

A new record for Sofie S. and 16 Hoops from the Guiness World Record at 100 hoops and she is only 11 years old this lady and her teammates cheering her on and congratulating her on the new personal and team record. Posted by Picasa

Harvest festival (Send the witch to bloksbjerg)

In Denmark we have a festival called "Skt. Hans" where we burn a figure resembling a witch, it is a kind of harvest festival, on a big bonfire.

I was with the Flying Superkids, a show & entertainment team in a very small town called "Vester Hjermitslev" in Denmark.

When we arrived there, the big bonfire had just been lit and soon the figure of the Witch was burned.

The cute little girl on the picture, a little sister of one of the Flying Superkids members, took pity on the witch and asked about the witch with worried or sad eyes here and that was so adoring that it called for a picture of her. Posted by Picasa
